This thread made me watch the replay again. This argument, viewed from perspective of the game footage, is ridiculous. For all intents and purposes, Ridley looked EXACTLY like Charles Scott. Essentially no difference. BTW - if you rewatch, Scott had a hell of a game. He made some awesome cuts, hit the holes every bit as quickly as Ridley did with fresh legs against a demoralized and tired Green Wave defense, and was plowing and dragging folks. And K. Williams had one nice run as well. Ridley looks great. He looks like a shorter Charles Scott!
yes id have to agree, he hits the hole quick with a very quick cut. As a side note Lee didnt look half bad either
Ridley seems to be a mix between RS and CS; showing the quickness and shiftiness of RS and power of CS.
I guess I meant "some of each" when I used the word "mix" . Otherwise I would have used the word "combination"! Anyway, I think he 's a bit faster in hitting the hole than Keiland.
The "Ridley or Ford" question is one to ask in 2010. If :milesmic: thought he was ready, I suspect he would have taken the redshirt off Ford already. As for Ridley, I'd like to see him get some meaningful carries against an SEC calibre defense before he's declared the answer to our running game troubles.
Then he better start thinking about his career after football immediately after the season. Great kid but his only shot after college is FB.
