    Highly unusual, but highly talented individual who really had no chance to succeed in New Orleans. Thanks to the asinine trade maneuvering of Mike Ditka, RW had expectations placed on him that very few could have lived up to. Still managed to have a 10,000 yard rushing career.

    I have always liked Rickey Williams, and think that he is a genuinely good guy. Shame on the NFL and the media for making him out to be a villain, when he was his own person.

    Enjoyed the linked article. I can't say that I was ever a "fan" of Ricky Williams but think he's a very interesting guy that was unfairly labeled by the media. It's possible the best is yet to come for him.
