Words of wisdom With LSU trailing 14-3 at halftime Saturday, defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois delivered a sermon at halftime that apparently served to rev his teammates up. “He told us score doesn’t mean anything,” fellow tackle Charles Alexander said. “He talked about that we’d been there before and been down in big games. He reminded us what makes us a great program that we know we have to go out and fight for every victory.” Alexander said Jean-Francois has shouldered the role of LSU’s most recent All-American on the defensive front. “His leadership reminds me so much of 72,” Alexander said, referring to Glenn Dorsey. “Glenn always rallied the team together and Ricky Jean is doing that same thing.” You can't replace Dosey, but this is why I never worry about losing leadership every year. There's always a new leader. It's just the kind of team and the kind of kids our coaches bring in every year. It's amazing, and it's precisely why we're going to be around for a long, long time. We're just getting this Dynasty started.
