Too bad. I guess he didn't develop. Bit of a recruiting bust. Didnt he come in with the Mitchell's? The entire wide receiver haul that year was mediocre.
Dixon, who just finished his redshirt sophomore season at LSU, wore #10, the same number that Shep wore in high school, so I imagine #10 will go to Shep. Dixon went to East St. John High in Reserve, LA, where he was Ryan Perrilloux's top receiver. He was a Rivals 4-star WR and a Scout 3-star WR. The school he transferred to, Texas Southern, is a SWAC team, along with Southern and Grambling. Their mascot is the Tigers. I wish Ricky luck, and thank him for his three years of being part of the LSU team! Ricky Dixon catches the ball during football practice at the Superdome Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 in New Orleans. LSU will play Ohio State in the BCS championship football game Jan. 7
Good Luck to him and I wish him well. I know all about the SWAC and Texas Southern since I have played college hoops and football video games over the years. Hmm, Is it just me or do they seem to have a better Tiger logo than us? I sure hate the new one we've had for a few years but even if you compare there helmet logo to ours, their logo would rip ours apart? Its like we have a happy tiger and they have a mean one?
