You simply do not accept that consumer spending is the MAJOR factor in job growth.

It is driven by both small and large businesses and business income far exceeds investment income in staffing requirements.

I take no money from anybody. You are soooooo confused.

The issue is creating more jobs, so that everybody makes more money, they spend it, the economy grows and there are taxes enough for government and surpluses enough for citizens to consume and to save.

How is taking more money out of the economy going to increase job growth, if as you say, consumer spending is the driver? Even your boy in the Oval Office seems to get that cutting taxes on individuals and businesses is the way to go.

It ain't taking anything out of the economy if it is spent on transportation and school infrastructure and such. It is putting that money to use hiring contractors and construction workers, electronics companies, insurance companies and every business associated with it. Those people will have money to spend again and stimulate housing, services, and other sectors of the economy.

Getting people working makes an economy that makes more money, so more taxes get paid to cover the costs of getting people working. Giving it back to rich people to add to their holdings does not stimulate commerce.

we already have money for productive stuff like that but instead it is going to your big government boondoggles like social security. and you still are lobbying for money to go to even more boondoggles like wind power and whatever else.

Until Obama is out, corporations will not spend.
Corporations will not invest in a time when a liberal , progressive leftist is in the whitehouse. They will sit on their money until the government cuts regulations and gets it's greedy hands out of the affairs of business and markets. If I had the responsibility of running a multi billion dollar corporation , I wouldn't take any chances either.

You realize that if people had their money to spend themselves they could it would provide revenues to state and local governemnts to carry out these projects without adding another layer of government, another layer of administrative costs, and another layer of inefficiencies.

Of course it does. These awful rick people aren't keeping their money under the mattress it is in banks, so it gets loaned out and multiplied.
