In today's economy, many millionaires are middle class. Many are also small business owners who invest their tax savings into their businesses which stimulates job growth. One of Obama's problems is that he thinks that we (voters) think that $250,000 is a large amount of money.

low unemployment and being the wealthiest country in the world don't pertain to our economy. That's an interesting take.

Who pays the middle class? Remember, the rich create the jobs too. I'm not saying only the wealthy should get tax breaks, what I'm saying is, the middle class benefit from tax breaks for the wealthy as well as their own tax breaks.

Are you talking about the economy or the stock market because I was talking about the economy. They are not one and the same.

again, high taxes only really hurt the poor. so if you want to hurt the poor, tax the rich.

How? That's trickle down economics, which Redd just totally debunked. Middle class folks are going to pump any tax break they get staight back into the economy. If you're just wanting to jump start the ecomomy, focus the tax breaks on working class folks. And yes, I'm talking about people making less than 250,000.

Really? Red just has to say something and BAM, it's totaly debunked. That's pretty impressive.

They can get all the tax breaks in the world, but as we're finding out right now, if they don't have jobs, our economy will still sputter.

It's a large annual income, the 95th percentile.

It's not my take, I spoke very clearly.

    The American consumer.

That is a myth that you can't document. What you will find is that the rich save more money when they have more money. Small business creates most new jobs followed by big business. Individuals with high incomes do not create a lot of jobs.

But it isn't the case. A billionaire that makes 90% of his 7-figure income from investments gets huge tax breaks. A middle class citizen who makes 90% of his income from salaries or small business profits gets a tiny break.

There were two sentences and I mentioned both.
