Americans, since 9/11, are generally suspicious of muslims. This is because the radical muslim extremists are out there trying to kill us and we cannot tell which are good, law abiding muslims or rabid jihadists bent on destruction. On a plane, we look suspiciously at someone who looks like the "typical" muslim terrorist. We know they are no more likely to blow up the plane than we are, but there is a bit of unease just the same. Obama, and most bleeding hearts, thinks that we should all just chill and assume all muslims are good. That's just my opinion. If Obama wasn't a politician he'd be kneeling on a rug and wailing in the direction of Mecca. He doesn't because it would not be politically feasible and his political future is what drives every thought he has.
