TE out of Utah talked about in various other threads. He is down to 4 schools and will announce on Nov. 1. Miami, LSU, BYU and Stanford. The Miami Canes consider him to be the next Winslow, Jr. I am a bit more excited about this kid and I hope we land him, as we don't have an heir apparent to Dickson as far as a receiving TE.
He is one of my favorite players we are in the running for. He has size, blocking skills, speed, intelligence, and leadership qualities Les and Crowton are looking for.
it's strange to see Miami and BYU listed together as his finalists...how big of opposites is that? wonder when the last time those two battled it out for any recruit...hell, even Stanford and Miami is kind of a weird thing to see.
I was thinking the same thing earlier. BYU...home state school Miami...thug U Stanford...good education, good sports (EXCEPT FOOTBALL) *** LSU...POWERHOUSE and hot chicks! :crystal::crystal: (***defeated 10x defending champion USC last year :hihi
I'm high on Wilson, but I'm not so sure that he has a spot in this class. The mormon mission complicates things.
Committed to BYU like expected as of late. Seems like the only other possible TE recruit is Orson Charles and he is a long shot. Next TE commit will come from the 2010 class, most likely Dickson's brother.
Do not see a big problem in landing him next year. LSU should be the team to beat from the get go. He came in for a game already this year and seems to know most of the team already. Athletic ability wise I hear him and his brother are similar athletes all around.
That would be great. What's your take on our current crop of TE's? Joseph appears to be a solid blocker, hopefully he can be a threat in the passing game. Maybe someone will step up.
