    a year ago dix ran a 9.93 blowing by trindon on his left and thompson on is right.

    Thompson was only a hundreth of a seond off the NCAA record set by Ato Bolden. Trindon Holliday ran a 10.05 to come in second, that was 3 hundreths faster than his time last year when he won.

    I thought he ran a 10.02. Wouldn't that make him 3/100s slower than last year?

    the 10.02 wasnt in finals, i believe, just his fastest
