So does Peterson, Marshawn Lynch just pulled a Saints playoff run on the Cards. Peterson could have tackled him, but was like a fly on lion. He just brushed him off, Peterson was going for a strip but was nothing.
18 of 44 for 216 0-1. There has been 1 pass play over 20 that wasn't a screen. Seattle has been playing DEEP in the 4th basically conceding anything underneath so a lot of the receptions are quick hits or dumps. So many overthrown passes, so many open men missed, it's been bad.
Sherman may only play one side while Peterson moves around more. Add the fact that Sherman plays in one of the best secondarys ever. Fact is though Sherman is certainly a better CB than Peterson is right now. I love PP7 but that is just the truty. Have to take off the Purple and Gold shaded glasses. Patrick often plays with bad form, relying too much on his speed which gets him beat for big TD's. If he gets his fundamentals down no doubt he is the best but right now Sherman and Revis are the top two CB's with Haden also above Peterson IMO.
Peterson would be a lot better too if he only had to play one side, was allowed to mug people at the line of scrimmage, and didn't have to regularly cover the other teams best receiver. Sherman is a Monet, looks good from a distance but once you close in looks a lot worse.
