Hester gave Dickson his jersey as part of LSU tradition for seniors to give up their jersey and pass it down to someone else during their last practice during bowl week. Dickson decided to keep it.
I am really shocked either Perrilloux and/or Sheppard wasn't forced to change one of their numbers. I can't think of any team ever who has had 2 guys the same number who actually both played a big role. normally, one guy with the number is a starter, the other a bench warmer/walk on.
I was thinking about that right about the time we played OSU for the BCS NC. I figured he would have had to change it being a starter and all. That's kinda cooky. Wasn't it you that responded to my post when I asked why the hell Perrilloux was in on kickoff coverage? :hihi:
it might have been and if I was rude, I'm sorry. Just when you're in the student section and all 5,000 students think Perrilloux is in and is cursing out Miles, etc... it gets old. lol
and they are not that far off on height and weight, so it's understandable to a degree......except who puts their stud backup QB in on kickoff coverage? I felt pretty silly.....
E.J. Kuale played a decent amount wearing #2 while Shyrone Carey was also 2. Kuale later change his number though
I can see Perrilloux changing his # when he gets back. As part of the whole "A new beginning" thing everyone will be wanting.
I thought I read an article somewhere at the end of the season that Shepard was tired of being mistaken and was going to change his number.
well being in school when trev faulk #7and bradie james #11 were tearing it up, i'm ok with low numbers. also i wanna say VT had an offensive and defensive player with the same number recently. it's rare though.
