Fans will say they are booing Miles. Also I think we knew Miles wasn't calling plays, but it's an offense he constructed. Cameron calls plays in the game that were devised and put into the playbook by Miles. It's his offense, and again he needs to go into Ms. Daisy mode.
Ok, do you KNOW this? I find it hard to believe that a guy with decades of experience, whom LSU pays millions of dollars, just picks from a book of plays devised by the HC. Especially when last year's offense was record-setting. It can't just be, "Last year's offense was Cam - this one is all Les," and we all just nod our heads.
I think it's obvious, has the offense changed? No it hasn't, the only difference was last year our QB was suited to run it. It's a pro style offense, not the spread option. Do you think a guy who is gets put on the "hot seat" a year removed from a national championship is going to allow anyone control of his offense?
You fightin windmills chica. Majority are booing Miles, and those who aren't exist at every school and will always exist. Miles' hard head is boo worthy.
I boo due to peer pressure and from having consumed what could be considered too many alcoholic beverages lol.
I call that bullshit. The fans were booing Jennings. I know it, you know it, they know it and most of all Jennings knows it. I hope he comes back and makes them eat their one word vocabulary. As far as Miles goes, he has won a lot of games so he obviously knows a little about what he's doing. Of course, fans know more than any coach. John Madden - "When coaches start listening to fans it's not long before they are one." , or something like that.
Here's what I think..... Les Miles is the HC and ultimately, his neck is on the line. So I believe during the game plan week he is involved with what's put in. He is involved from Spring on with what he is comfortable as his formula. I believe he gives his OC a clear set of instructions based on what's worked for us throughout his tenure --- "Run the football. Don't turn it over. Pound the football. Take a few deep shots down the field. Don't turn it over. Punting is ok. We typically have a great defense. Keep the offense relatively simple. Don't get silly and turn it over. We can win with a great LSU defense. Pound the football for 4 quarters"... And the OC, who works for Miles, takes those instructions and operates accordingly.
