OK,,,,,as I promised, I WILL NOT panic. I WILL NOT be the bearer of bad Karma. I'm a tried and true LSU TIGER FAN.

However, I have some valid questions:
    1) Can our Offensive Line learn to block and open holes? We have a 1000 yd back returning with no injuries from last year. He has NO holes to run through. This is confusing to me. Are the teams we're playing that good against the run?

    2) My biggest question: I've seen Dickson have almost 100% success when the ball is thrown to him. Seems to me he's getting close to 10 yds everytime he touches the ball. Why are we ignoring him? Obviously his blocking can't be the reason. I've seen no plays where he was the critical blocker for another runner or pass play.

    3) Last question. Are we playing down to the other teams talent? We seem to find a way to win when it looks like we're beat. I PRAY this is the reason. But if it is the case, that means the players ARE NOT motivated until they have to be. Someone explain to me why this is not the reason we're barely beating all the teams we play.

Don't know what to say about Dickson. It's a mystery to me as well.

You can't tell me the middle of the field is not ours for the taking with the quality wideouts we have out there pulling safeties their way.

    It's certainly unacceptable.

If using Dickson more was beneficial, don't you think the coaches would do it?? Do you think you know more than the coaches now??? Come on man, we're 4-0 and charging toward another national championship!!

Geaux Tigers!!! :tigereye:Eye of the Tiger!!!

Read my post! I am NOT second guessing the coaches. I'm asking why Dickson isn't used more. Hell, I only played football in highschool and I wasn't that good. So obviously, I can't second guess a I-A college coach and I don't pretend that I can. I'm just asking why I don't see it.

Don't fall into this jackass's trap Charlie. He's baiting you.

You do bring up legitimate concern's, especially the O-line. With Miles being a former O-liner, you'd think that'd be his 'baby'.

As for Dickson, the only reason I can think of is the continued development of Jefferson. Right now, he's only looking for Lafell and Tolliver. I really think they should make a more concerted effort to get Dickson the ball. A TE is deadly and could be a (if you'll excuse the cliche') security blanket for a young QB.

It’s obvious that Jefferson needs to learn the TE portion of the playbook. Our run blocking is not that great this year. I don’t think we are playing down to any other teams talent. We beat a team that beat USC and stomped on Vandy and Ulala. This was just a sloppy game by our QB. The D and special teams won this game today.

Miss played a good game on Def. Had Lee not thrown 3 picks and the RB not fumbled b/4 the half they might have won tonight. I bet Miss will be working on first and goal all week in practice.
