Not too many I'd guess, Now getting their LOI is a different story. We're now at 18 commits I believe, only about 9 more to get if we greyshirt a couple or place them in a juco.
I just saw on tigerrag that Richard dickson had a sudden change of heart don't know exactly what that means b/c i am a cheapskate but i would not mind a summary at all!
Someone said the story was about him saying LSU was his leader then he decided to commit right after that. Apparently the "change of heart" was him deciding to commit.
He told Sonny Shipp that right after they talked the other night he and his dad had a talk. His dad heard Richard tell Sonny he was pretty sure he was going to commit to LSU but that he was going to take a week or two. His dad said that if he wants to go to LSU to go ahead and do it. So he did, thus the change of heart. He also said that he saw LSU was filling up fast and did not want to get left at the station.
Also, per Rivals, Dickson mentioned not wanting to get "left out" (presumably because of Lotts commitment and other TE's being given hard looks). He said that LSU was the school that stood out for a long time and is where he wanted to go but wanted to "play the recruiting game" a bit....but with the number of commitments rising for us, he wanted to be sure of his spot. (smart idea).
from dandydon.com I just got off the phone with LSU's newest commitment, Richard Dickson (TE, 6'3", 245) from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Richard told me that he visited LSU last weekend on an unofficial visit and decided on his return home that he wanted to be an LSU Tiger. Dickson told me that he has received offers from over 30 schools and that he narrowed his list down to eight a couple weeks ago. The eight schools were Miami, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, FSU and LSU. Richard said his commitment to LSU was rock solid and that he is happy to get recruiting behind him. His next goal is to win the state championship in Mississippi. Ocean Springs is 6-1 on the season with three games remaining on the schedule.
