    They're ALL that.

Hill is fast and can take a hit, very elusive in the open field.
4TD's, 288 yards on 34 carries. Not too shabby.

Collins is a MAN. Big AND fast, he tracked Hilliard down across the field.
    Great speed for a behemoth.
I laughed out loud when he actually sacked the QB by just shoving him down.

Hilliard is really tough between the tackles, but might not be fast enough on the sweep for the SEC. I was bummed when he went out with an injury.
If Patterson had more of a passing game it would relieve a lot of pressure from him. Still, he had almost 150 yards rushing in the first half.

LSU has a chance to have Ford, Blue, Ware, Hilliard and Hill all on the same team?

    Best backfield in the nation?

KH has good speed for a high schooler, but he doesn't have breakout speed. He'll be a Charles Scott-like runner at LSU, but I believe he'll be better at making his own hole then The Truck was. He's a behind-the-pads runner with better footwork than you'd expect, and he can take a lot of punishment.

What kind of injury did he have, and did it look bad?

He is very nimble for a stocky back. During most games on TV it is hard to see what he is doing in those holes but some nice camera work last night showed him shifting his hips in the hole and very quick spins to avoid tackles, etc...

    Very impressive.

He has been dealing with a nagging ankle injury since before the season started but last night was a case of bad cramps that many on the Patterson team seemed to be suffering from. RHS had some cramp issues as well last night.

Hilliard is close to the perfect complement to Hill. Hill has a little less power but also has strong legs. He can pound it inside and break to the sideline quicker than Hilliard. Kind of reminded me of Ridley last night.

Magee will bring that needed change of pace in the future. Very flashy and quick.

All 3 seem to be very good at catching the ball out of the backfield.

Magee reminds me an Early Doucet. Could be a very good WR.
With that many RB's, this could happen.

Just watched on dvr and man, Jeremy Hill went off. I would like to see Kenny Hilliard though running behind La'el Collins, that dude is a damn monster. I thought that Miles not really giving freshmen tailbacks a chance to play early here recently would hurt recruiting a little but it obviously hasn't. Can you imagine, Ware, Blue, Gore, Hill, Hilliard in your stable? Damn that is scary.

word I get on Hilliard (and the game illustrates it) is that he is very overweight and pretty out of shape (conditioning).

Alabama has the best backfield Ingram, Richardson, Lacy and Goode. Good chance they are all back next year with a NFL lockout in view.

I wouldn't say very overweight. Nothing a college weight program can't handle and he gets a ton of carries a game so I don't see any endurance issues just like last year. Been battling ankle issues and had some bad cramps last night. Hilliard is one the verge of breaking the LA rushing record and with a pretty weak offensive line and every team knowing he is getting the ball 80% of the time.

When you see him in person he is pretty ripped with a little baby fat in the belly area but nothing major at all.

Could be because he is one of those guys we will want to get the ball in space. I don't think he will come in getting playing time right away because he needs to add some bulk. Paul Turner of WM is a very similar athlete.
