The title game will be LSU vs. OKST/OU (Winner) End of Story NO RE-MATCHES Too many fan bases will get PISSED!
The only reason I don't want to see a rematch with either Oregon or Bama is that for the preseding month I DO NOT want to hear from ESPN how LSU will be devoured! It is agonizing to have to listen to those tools! I have no doubt that the TIGERS will do the devouring! GEAUX TIGERS! :tigereye::LSU231: 14 and EAUX is the goal!!
When the Ducks got out of the SEC play Out of the SEC The Ducks look great , but when playing a SEC team they look a lot like Ohio State
Oregon looks different now because of the teams they are playing. Reese Davis said the other night before the Stanford game that Stanford's 3rd fastest player was one of their tight ends. Are you kidding me? Of course Oregon looks fast compared to them. Oregon, while I respect the Ducks, does not deserve a rematch. They had an entire off season to prepare and we beat the hell out of them with all kinds of drama surrounding our program, that happened 2 weeks before the season.
Lou Holtz is pathetic ... I watched this ESPN horse shight where he dresses up like a lawyer and presents his case for Oregon being the best team with one loss and much better than LSU right now and deserving to be in a rematch ... I think they need to lock this Holtz monkey down and do a Hannibal Lecter number on his senile arse and feed him some brains!!! Oregon against Stanford looked EXACTLY like Oregon against Nevada in Week2! The only reason Oregon looks different, is because the Purple & Gold Tigers are not lined up against them dominating them and shutting them down. Where was all this chatter about speed and new look and all this BS after week 2 when Oregon hung 70 points, 600 yards and 10 touchdowns the very week after they were handled by LSU LMAO at these fools
Y'all do realize if we have to play the ducks again it will be in New Orleans and once again their excuse will be "home field advantage." Since Dallas was home field advantage according to the ducks.
This is definitely true. The cry would be rather loud. I'm going to go out of my way to remind any Oregon fans I talk to about this just to judge their reaction now. Frankly, I don't think most of them are paying attention to this at the moment.
Yes  One could say, its why our recruiting cycle is worked out this way..... 2003 - Game in NOLA - LSU National Champs 2007 - Game in NOLA - LSU National Champs 2011 - Game in NOLA - ???????
as a Duck fan and a rookie LSU fan (how many of us are there?), none of this will ever ever ever be settled until we have a playoff. I personally don't think the Ducks are the 2nd best team in the country. If I'm being honest, this is how I would rank the top 10: 1. LSU 2. Oklahoma St 3. Alabama 4. Oklahoma (I know..bad loss against Texas Tech, but I choose to ignore it) 5. Arkansas 6. Oregon 7. Clemson 8. Virginia Tech 9. Boise St 10. Houston ...the last 2 were sympathy votes. Personally, I would love LSU/Houston for the national championship. It's the only way to push a playoff since the score would be like 100-3 LSU (Tigers would give up a courtesy field goal at the end). as for my Ducks, of course I'd love to see them play LSU again but there's no possible way it's going to happen. Not all Duck fans are the same. Some of us are actually football fans. And that's why I'm going to be rooting for LSU to win yet another title (unless divine intervention matches them up against the Ducks). Geaux Tigers! Go Ducks!
