Looks like UAB will be returning to Louisiana this fall; 13 years after they defeated LSU 13-10. Any special "treatment" for them this year? I doubt this game will be closer than 21-0 by halftime.
This season we play UAB - Saban famously lost to them as LSU's coach Kent St - Saban's alma mater and 1st coaching job Bama - Saban's current team
Only if you are needlessly obsessed with Saban. Get the revenge factor of the UAB game, but Bama is Bama and Kent is meaningless.
UAB is now coached by former Arkansas offensive coordinator Gerrick McGhee; he knows Miles's tricks. That said, I just don't think he has the talent available to make it a competitive game.
Yyyyeah, not seeing any storylines here whatsoever, other than a tough SEC opponent that we intend to embarrass in the national spotlight.
Agreed... this Louisiana St. team is nothing like the team in 2000, but I'm sure some of the players are aware of the history. However... Mississippi State and Ole Miss of the SEC have come to Legion Field to play UAB. Is LSU willing to come to Birmingham?
