That ain't what I said. I said stop letting the rich rob from the middle class and the poor using the government tax system.

We invite class warfare by encouraging a system where a small elite live at the expense of a large lower class and a small middle class that has no influence. It has historically resulted in civil unrest, civil war and revolution. You are only thinking of your own best interests in the 20 years or so you've got left.

Well, me too. But I'm also thinking of the long term best interests of America which was a whole lot better in the 19th century when there were no billionaires and very few living in poverty. A huge and upwardly mobile middle class is what this country was built on. Not a few hundred billionaires. Everybody had a piece of the pie.

That's like the old fabulously wealthy nobility of Europe lording it over a powerless underclass, purposefully kept from advancing above their class. And look what happened to those guys. concentrating wealth in an elite few is a recipe for future disaster.

You fail to mention the 40% of Americans that pay ZERO using the govt. tax system.

Who is this unfair to again?

You are missing the point cheech. I don't need the help. It was a jab at the old boy with his beard on fire. He has done nothing but bitch about the rich being rich for as long as I can remember. All this gobbly gook about taking advantage of the middle class. He knows the liberal/socialist agenda is going down in flames and I was going to see just how "on board" he was with it. Wait! I think he just blamed the bp oil spill on the incoming class.

:hihi: cheech. nice. i know man, i was just messin with ya. let me ask you though. the republicans talk about cutting spending. how much money is it going to cost to eliminate tax cuts for the rich? how much spending are they going to cut in social programs, just too feed into defense? We already have a defense budget that is more than every other country combined. Do we really need missile's with high definition tv's and rims on them, that can be shot from the pentagon up a camels ass?

i don't know, i think they are all bunch of bastards but i can stomach the blue bastards more than the red ones. none of them have yours or my best interests at heart. Now, if that money was to go to making sure all soldiers are taken care of for the rest of their lives, and that they are paid handsomely then how can you argue with that, but we both know that ain't gonna happen.

by the way, i don't approve of the social programs how they are structured. i think it's ridiculous that people can get paid for nothing. and can quit job after job just to sit on a couch and collect unemployment. i think it sucks that a man with no family that is single living with mommy, can get food stamps, and a family of 3 with a working income just over 2 grand a month can't. I do believe that there is a wave of lazy, fat, americans who would rather live off our tax money, but there are also those who really need it and can't do anything about it. Those social programs should be structured to fit the needs of the people who cannot help themselves, not the people who are just too ****ing lazy to help themselves.

because they make nothing or next to nothing. im sure they would have no problem paying taxes if they made decent money. but our society is set up so that the bottom get paid crap wages.

I do believe rex was comparing the "don't pay any taxes" crowd to the "uber-rich and yet they still get tax breaks" that Red rails on about. I also believe that there are far more of the type rex is talking about, and they are a far bigger problem for America than the others.

Genius, if you were able to set aside your hatred for the rich for just enough time for a few of those synapse to fire you might figure out that the jackass party has 10x to keep them there than they have to try and get them out.
