"mobius481, post: 1528077, member: 8347"]Cruz is a f**king disaster and moderates will not vote for him. He's a teabagger and a right wing nut although he's trying to appeal to the centrists now. Unfortunately, even though he's young, his record is too long. He can't win against Hillary. Rubio is the only hope for the republicans.[/QUOTE]
And hes funeral home director creepy as well

The fact that you have so much enmity for him sorta proves my point. I never said moderates will vote for him. He is the only one who can win against Hillary and I'd pay to watch him eviscerate her lying, conniving, pathetic, two-faced ass in a debate. She's smart but she's not Cruz smart.

Rubio is going to fade away.

It's always interesting to me when folks who proclaim a fondness for the left become so hostile and use microaggressive words like "teabagger".

Come on now. He's managing to fit in a visit with the victims and surviving family members in San Bernardino.....on his way to Hawaii for his annual 2 weeks. Phucker.

Cruz has no chance against Hillary. If he gets the GOP nomination Broom Hilda can sleep walk through the rest of the election. The Republican establishment will never learn, they are becoming dumber than democrats.

my opinion without seeing the poll results because everyone basis theirs on what the idiots tell them happened it seems. i watched most all of it but it became background noise after awhile.

anyhow i think cruz did well and i dont like him. he was solid throughout it seemed.

rubio started well but went into that not having an actual discussion mode but somewhere deep on his talking points. which are always relevant but still gets deep in the woods. i still kinda like him minus the open border which is big.

rand paul had his moments but he has a perm and just seems weak overall to me. cant have another pussy in the white house.

speaking of weak, yeb bush had his moments as well but no chance i vote for his sympathizing self. he did make trump look stupid a couple times which is great. i felt the picked on kid got a couple good shots on the bully.

trump will have to be a game manager. he looked like a clown and sounded like an idiot on many of the finer points. but he can manage people to do these jobs which is what is needed anyhow i suppose. he needs to learn how the internet works however. lol

the chick told us she was a chick. pretty decent debater but she didnt get much play. women get shit done. thats all i remember from her. wonderful.

as i said from day 1, carson is way out of his league. despite the phd he looks lost and sounds like an idiot. that doesnt mean he wouldnt be the best qualified for getting shit done. but this is a popularity contest and he should bail out now. but maybe we need a doer and not a talker. he can read a teleprompter after his moments of silence.

kasich was irrelevant. he did talk about ohio once afuckingain.

so they pitted cruz vs rubio, yeb vs trump, carson vs himself.

everything ended up a wash basically except carson is out. thats all i really got out of it. everything else looks the same.

who is the puppet the establishment will choose is the only question.

I disagree. Who else do you think has a shot at beating her? (Not literally or we'd have to sell tickets, lol).

    tirk nailed it on everyone.

Independents and moderates aren't going to vote for Cruz IMO. This is yet another crappy group of GOP candidates. Who can win doesn't equate to who the best person for the job is. That being said I really only see two that have a chance to beat Hillary. Rubio is a real likable down to earth guy that would resonate with a lot of people once they heard him. The crowd will have to thin greatly for him to make his case. As much as I dislike Trump he has been leading forever for a reason. Plus moderates and independents definitely don't see him as party establishment. He'll have to do more than just attack his opponent in the general election, but he's capable of drawing in a lot of disenfranchised voters. At this point I see anyone else on the Republican ticket giving Hillary a landslide victory.

I have no fondness for the left. I have fondness for people who are not ideologues and who think about issues from all sides. I have voted for a democrat only once in my life and probably hundreds of republicans. The tea party is a disgrace to the republican party that I was a part of (no longer as I am an independent). They make no sense, can't see the big picture and are dangerous to our country.

I agree. I obviously don't like him but he's so damn formidable on stage. Whether you like him or not, you have to admire his oratory abilities.

He doesn't advocate an open border. He advocates a path to citizenship for existing immigrants who are here but closing the border first. Look, I understand this is sensitive spot. I hate the thought of giving a path to citizenship to people who are here illegally. But you have to be realistic. There's no way we can deport 12 million and even if we could, the cost would be astronomical. If they have proven to be productive members of society, are willing to obey our laws and pay taxes, what's wrong with letting them stay? It's not only the right answer, but the only practical and realistic answer.

Yeah, he's too much of an isolationist. And you're right, his hair is stupid.

It's a terrible cycle to come acrossas a pussy and that's what he's done.

It's just hard for me to believe I live in a country where Trump could win the nomination.

She doesn't do much for me but I don't dislike her. The field's just too crowded.

    yep

    Which is a shame. I think he's a better option than the 8th or 9th he's polling.

    Ain't politics grand?
