Who would y'all vote for to represent the Republican party in the presidential election? I'd vote Ron Paul.

Huntsman is the only Republican I'd consider voting for, the only one with any brainpower.

He's just in it for name recognition, but he intends to be the man to take on Hillary in 2016.

I would vote for Hillary in 2016. The Republican party as a whole still is highly unsatisfactory.

This long, and good, artice in the NY Times details just why Tea Party candidates have no chance. Republican elites are not willing to give up their power so easily and especially to a group they cannot control.

"Establishment Republicans may prefer Romney to Perry, but their assumption is that either man can be counted on to steer the party back toward the broad center next fall, effectively disarming the Tea Party mutiny."

The elites won't have a chance. The days of the old guard are done.
