Exactly right and old man Benson is too out of touch with reality to reign them in, so they continue spending his money at will, with no accountability, on has been FAs that gets us no closer to the playoffs, much less the SB. Let's see what they do to screw up the draft.

If I was GM I would use all the picks on defense unless an O lineman who could be of immediate help was available. But Payton will cry like a baby if they don't give him his toys. With the 32nd pick of the 2017 National Football League Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Patrick Mahomes, quarterback, Texas Tech,

Would have been a great deal 5 years ago. Like I said before the reason he signed with the Saints is that nobody else is willing to pay him that much.

Sean Payton was so amazed with Leonard Founette at LSU's pro day he now wants to sign the old beat up version.

Funny thing is AD was quoted as saying the only thing he has left to do is win the SB. I don't know how much longer he plans to play but that shit aint happening in New Orleans, not on that team.

Ironically, the Saints could have a least taken a baby step toward that goal by using that money to sign a low priced backup RB and either a D back or edge rusher who could make the defense better.

If AP was serious about winning a Superbowl he would have signed with the Patriots for whatever amount they offered.
