I'm sure O has been touching base with many of his contacts in LA telling them he's hoping to land a job soon. I also suspect most of those guys have recruits that we will be after over the next three weeks. Probably just a coincidence.
I tend to agree. The D has been a little to "warm and fuzzy" as of late. Yes the stats have been good but we really haven't had an edge since TM was here, in my opinion. Maybe we need a little crazy train playing in these guys heads.
You had no clue, did you. Steele is still a disappointing hire. The fact that he hired the better coach for the lesser position makes him crazy as a loon, not a fox.
Speaking of. Like I said, I like what we have on the d side of the ball. The players we have, too soft comes to mind. Guess I have no clue.
I do feel better with the O hire as I was not impressed with Bricks lines as of late. I don't blame him I think he had to use what he had and we were too light in the ass to be effective. I hope Brick stays in some capacity because I think he brings experience to the table.
Brick has a new contract but not signed yet. Not sure if he is going to take the admin role or not yet. I could see him looking at A&M and the NFL or staying this year and keep his options open for next year. In May, the NCAA votes on adding a new staff member so that is an option for him to have a coachingspot as well for next season.
I'd be shocked if Chavis doesn't offer him a DL position. I'd be even more shocked if Brick didn't take it.
