I wonder just exactly what his job duties would be for the kind of money he will be paid. Selling tickets, direction traffic on gameday, ect. If you perform the functions of a coach then you are a coach.

 

If you go back to Bhelm mentioning that Haley has a special needs child, the admin offer makes sense. This is just like what we did for Kragthorpe when he was diagnosed: we gave him a position where he could contribute that would allow Krags to retain his health insurance.

Is Brick staying? Or leaving?

 

May be too early to tell I think it depends on whether or not Chavis offers him a job or if not, if the NCAA expands the size of the coaching staff.

 

Brick is now referred to as an "Intern".

 

Which means still on the payroll waiting for a better offer.

 

Or they know the Coach rule is about to change, and he agreed to step back temporarily because he knows the O addition is huge for LSU football.

 

So they know the rule is going change before the NCAA knows?

 

There is some talk of a change in May.
