Why, the game is already won? You surely do not want to get schooled again? Or do you have more fake victories to claim? You must truly be a Bama fan with all your so called "wins".
So Red, You claim that because the control was implemented during WWII, it worked because people accepted it. However people really had no choice. It was like the draft, you either went to war or went to jail. The choice was yours. Take this concept over to the price controls. You either accept it and play your part for the war, or fight the government. It is really easy to understand the choice people made and the sacrifice of being forced into shortages created by the government. The price controls, by very nature, created shortages. It is a proven fact that price controls create shortages. Just being implemented, for whatever reason, is not clarification of them working.
That is NOT what I said. I have already addressed this twice. If you are going to be like martin and just keep repeating the same things over and over then you will be talking to yourself. I don't play that game.
No facts that you have introduced. It was not a question, it was a spurious statement suggesting that I alleged something about North Korea. I have said nothing at all about Nouth Korea. But you were going nowhere, so I understand why you want to change the subject . . . Of course. I do not allege that price controls work in North Korea. Do you? Not one goddamn thing works in North Korea. Nevertheless, price controls have worked in the US before, as I have noted.
Read a history book. You have already acknowledge groups of families having to live together. While they accepted it, doesn't mean they worked. Entire towns where displaced for new factories and shortages resulted because of the war effort.
i do think the price controls in north korea work. the same way they worked for us in world war 2. i dont think that is a useful way to use he word "work", but you do, so i understand why we did not agree.
