    WWL reporting that its official; we'll host the Vikings to kick off the 2010 season. The full schedule will be announced tonight.

    That tells me 2 things.

    1. Ben Rothleswhatever will in fact be suspended for at least game 1.
    2. Brett Favre will be back next season.

    Mr. Rooney indicated to the NFL he wanted to play the first game at home.

    I guess he has a lot of pull.

    Well, the Pirates schedule dictated that the Steelers would be on the road in weeks 2 and 3. The league wasn't going to give them a 3 week road trip to start the season.

    After seeing the pictures of the bruises on Favre's legs after the playoff win, that is going to be a hell of a way for him to start the next season!:) When you get older(and I'm speaking from experience) it takes a lot longer to heal from these things. 2 DAT!

    Favre required to have surgery on that ankle if he is to play this season.

    So now that brings a lot more doubt that he will be back in 2010.

    Poor Vikings, got one year out of him and he blew their chance to win a SB because of another bone-headed play.

    Now he's possibly leaving them with no good answer at the QB position as they decided not to draft anyone (I have no idea why they went that direction).

    They didn't sign him yet but his chances of making the team just increased with the Farve news.
