This isn't just sour grapes due to a loss but a good time to bring up the subject.

It's pretty obvious Alabama and Auburn are the beneficiaries of numerous calls each football season. We've also seen how the baseball tournament is trapped in Hoover each year.

On top of this the SEC HQ signs a contract to place a SEC team in a bowl game in Birmingham. Woohoo...everybody wants to go to Birmingham for a bowl game the day before the BCS championship.

It's obvious they take care of their home state. When we have AR, FL, GA, KY, LA, MO, MS, SC, TN, and TX represented in the SEC...why is the HQ in the backwards ass state of Alabama?

Is there any way to have this changed? I'm personally tired of chanting S-E-C when we're simply allowing them to manipulate the system.

Alabama & Auburn have little to offer outside of football and the state has nothing to offer for sports outside SEC play.

It's time to take their cash cow away.

    • Relocate the HQ to another state
    • Rotate the baseball tourney
    • IMMEDIATELY cut ties with a ridiculous bowl in Birmingham
The SEC is great because of the schools, fans, etc. - NOT because of the HQ staff. Time to move from the land of Gumps!

The baseball tournament in Hoover is a complete joke. It's way beyond time to move it to a real venue.

Pipe dream, Alabama is the bell cow, they will always reap all benefits. Just look at their 2012 and 2013 football schedules, no games vs. South Carolina, Georgia, or Florida. Wanna know why? They want an undefeated Alabama and undefeated East team to meet in Georgia every year for the SECCG.
