Amazing how far some of you are willing to go for Orgeron. We have beaten exactly one team worth a crap...Arkansas. Miles could easily be 6-4 right now.
Sure, but how would the team look if Miles was still coaching? Certainly not as good as what we've seen so far from Oeaux. Don't forget the eye test.
As Tap is fond of pointing out, the teams we have beaten have had losing records and/or terrible defenses.
Right, but Orgeron has been whipping on them. When Miles was coaching we were just slipping by. Look at what we did against Mississippi state versus what we did against Arkansas and compare those two teams.
Destroying lesser teams is fine and good, but is rather empty when you don't win the big ones. There are several handfuls of teams that can do this; the great teams come up big in big games.
A lot of people here like O, we just didn't like the product that was on the field yesterday. But if Miles was coaching that game, we would've lost 19-3.
