Reggie Bush is healthy and hungry to prove he is the prototypical modern NFL running back - NOLA.com

He's doing and saying the right things....I hope this translates on the field. If it does this could be a really frightening offense.

Yeah, except, I would prefer him to be saying, "I want to go to the Superbowl" instead of the frickin Pro Bowl. That is an egotistical attitude, not a team one. Sounds like he is just thinking about his contract. If RB going to Pro Bowl = dynamite Saints season, then I'll take it for sure.

Just look at the Saints record with him

Then look at it without him.

That will paint the picture I need to see. The team I'd want to see Reggie playing for is the Free Agent team.

what does this have to do with T.O.?

That's a lame way to make an argument -- by bringing up something that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

For the record, the Cowboys were piss poor without T..O. in the games he was injured.

But anyway, the Saints started slow when Reggie was in there, got hot midseason with him out, then cooled off and had a slow finish with him back.

Is that a coincidence? The team's better without him. Probably not Reggie's fault that Payton makes the gameplan 100% around him when he's healthy, but the fact of the matter is that he does and that the team is better when he's not there.

    The records speak for themselves.

I'll do the math for those of you who don't want to look it up.

    2008:

    Saints were: 4-6 with Bush
    Saints were: 4-2 without Bush

    2007:

    Saints were: 5-7 with Bush
    Saints were: 2-2 without Bush

    2-years combined:

    Saints are 9-13 with Bush
    Saints are 6-4 without Bush

Looks like 2 years in a row the win % is better without him. At some point that has to not be a coincidence anymore.

I blame the Saints defense and Sean Payton more than Reggie Bush though
