Regardless of your opinion of Les Miles...

We should kick the source of the leaks off the decision making team. That's all I'm saying. You can hate or love Les. The point is we are undermining our own program with that shit, and it needs to be stopped, regardless of who's coach

 

6-5 vs. Arkansas, how's that for winning, comparing the two programs from a recruitment standpoint, just truly sad.

Here's the deal. We live in a world of instant media. Everyone has a cell phone with camera, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, whatever. Everyone wants to be a media star. It's impossible to prevent leaks.

 

What we live in is the age of narcissism, where everyone - including BoS members - crave their 15 minutes of fame and have a burning need to be validated as often as possible.

It is possible to prevent leaks. Just hire people that are trained to be discreet professionals.

One of the "timing coincidences' about this whole 'fire Les' mini saga is that it came almost immediately after Edwards upset Vitter in the gubernatorial election. That might mean absolutely nothing, but it might mean that appointees to the BoS by the current governor might have wanted to swing their dick while they still had the cover of the governor that appointed them.

 

Both should be gone. We have a head coach and an AD that both suck at their jobs.

 

This all boils down to Alleva for not having more options than JUST Jimbo Fisher. I know several other so called candidates were less proven, but honestly I'd rather the unknown than the known in some of those cases because we know the ceiling with Jimbo. I just don't feel he is much better than Miles.

The LSU high ups should be canning Alleva today for making a mockery of the situation, and in turn of LSU.

I agree you can't prevent leaks in this day and age but Alleva did nothing to help the situation.
