The University owes it to Les to change how this is being handled. Stop letting the guy flap around in the wind continually having to answer questions and deflect attention on the subject. He's being worn out. This is the guy who bleeds purprle and gold. He's given his all to this University and the State. He's been a tremendous abmassador for LSU. Handle your process and your decision like stand up guys and with some class. I do think it's time for a change. I hate it. I really do. I think he's a great guy. I don't know if it's the right decision or not. Just my gut instinct based on what I've seen over the last few seasons. Ultimately I'd like to see a team tearing it up with MIles at the helm. Can that be accomplished? What do I know? Maybe I'm impatient. But one thing is for sure, this adminstration better have it right. They better knock it out of the park. It's a gutsy move if it's true. Either way ... Les deserves better than what he's getting now.
All that is not about HIM, it's for the team. HE KNOWS wtf is going on. He's been a baffoon too. And did you really think you needed another thread to say that?
So we know everything being said between Miles and the school behind closed doors? What if Miles is being a complete ass about the whole thing, and it's come to this.
Oh and "Mr Ambassador" sure ain't sticking around for the bowl game. With his recent bowl performances I don't blame him.
If you were fired from your job next week, would you show up a month later for an inconsequential event?
I love this crap about not treating him fairly etc., etc. If I was Les Miles and they were paying me $15,000,000.00 not to coach anymore, they could tar and feather my ass and ride me out of town on a rail and I'd be laughing my butt off all the way to the bank!
I think the buyout will be offset by his new salary so he won't make any less whether he works or not.
