We lost because WE lost. But yes, you are correct. SEC officiating has been going down hill for the past decade. Maybe the talent has gotten so good that they've left the refs in the dust. Maybe the SEC is making so much money they don't care about the quality of officiating. Who knows but they really do suck these days. I can live with a close call or an occasional missed call. What kills me is when a ref 50 yards downfield can call lining up in the nuetral zone but can't see a blatant facemask five feet in front of him. (Just one of many examples with these clowns.)
The SEC refs haven't been calling holding much at all this year--for any team. I don't know why, but I've seen it in game after game. I have to think it is a conference point of emphasis this year. I don't like it much.
Let it go cuz. My god. I could sit here and tell you that the refs also missed about THIRTEEN holding calls against T. Cody because your center nor your guard could stop him. Not to mention the two BLATANT block in the backs that directly benefited to the return for the td in the second half. The SEC refs are HORRIBLE!!! We all know this. But for you to continue to week after week insinuate that Bama is "paying off" the refs is nothing short of asinine and comes off like nothing more than a cry baby. We've been the "beneficiary" of several bad calls and non calls by the refs all year. But since the bad calls are spread around to all teams you just have to overcome them and not use them as a crutch. Let it go. :dis:
Guys, this will continue in every game, every confrence, every year until the NCAA gets some type of full time org of officials. These guys are weekend warriors that run drug stores and motel 6 during the week. They are just pitiful.
:lol::lol::lol: probably wouldnt help. everyone would still say they sucked and needed to be fired.
I caught a glimpse of the Alabama-Tennessee game right before halftime. The offensive pass interference call on the Tennessee receiver has to be included in a highlight film of all-time classic Alabama bias calls. Meanwhile, the classic, "tipped pass," scenario belongs exclusively to LSU. I almost forgot where I saw that one before. Can anyone say, "over five feet away from tipping the ball?"
some people really believe what they want to. conspiracy abound. it helps rationalize their beliefs and there's no changing it. I find it sad but hilarious at the same time. these are definitely the types you dont want to watch a game with.
