I get it and I'm guilty of it too. I had lofty expectations of this team and just knew in my heart that we would come back out this year and dominate the competition on our way back into the BCS discussion. I just knew that the offense would light up the world, post 40 points per game and our defense would stand with their heels firmly pressed on the throat of the enemy. This team has not lived up to what may be unrealistic expectations ... yet! It's time to take a step back and come at this whole season with a new perspective. Believe it or not, 4-0 is definitely something to build on. I still believe that this is one of the more complete and talented teams and coaching staffs we've had at LSU. We all have to realize that everything is a process and turning around a team of young men takes patience and persistence. No one on that team is giving up, not a single one. So can we as fans stop whining and complaining and start getting behind them a little more? I think this article from the Advocate has it nailed: 2theadvocate.com | LSU Sports | Laney: It's not pretty, but it's still 4-0 — Baton Rouge, LA :geaux:
