Yeah, Ritter is that owl-lookin' sonofabitch. Can't stand that dude. Steve Shaw isn't too bad. He called the Florida game.
Im not saying bad calls dont make a difference. That was a horrible, BS call. It was clearly an INT. That said, LSU LOST that game. The botched big pass play to Jones. Missed tackles, penalties, drops, bad play calling, horrible personnel management, etc have far more weight than that bad call. I just dont buy that crap. If JJ keeps rotating in while Lee is doing well. The game is close in the end, when maybe it shouldnt be. Then all of a sudden there is a bad call. That maybe sustanes an Auburn drive. You gonna tell me that outweighs the horrible personnel management, play calling, and play by JJ? Hell no. Besides, bad calls go both ways. You know the home team will usually get a few more calls. Deal with it, its a part of the game. The players and coaches have far more bearing on the outcome. I HATE excuses.
Shaw's crew may be the best in the sec which certainly is'nt saying a lot but I believe he lives in Alabama so I don't think it will be his crew.
Don't misunderstand me. I agree a sloppy game is your fault no excuses, but when the game is close I hate ref's making calls that affect the outcome. I'm for letting two power houses slug it out and decide on the field. If you look hard enough you could call a penalty on every play, but when they let it go all game and call it in a crucial situation it drives me nuts! BTW I hate excuses too! Prepare well all week and execute is the name of the game.:geaux:
I dont wanna hear any crying if there is a BS call against LSU at the end. We have a TD thanks to the refs.
