    Michigan's starting QB

    Game 1:

    Rushing: 197, 1 TD
    Passing: 186, 1 TD

    Game 2:

    Rushing: 258, 2 TDs
    Passing: 244, 1 TD

    Total Rushing: 455, 3 TDs
    Total Passing: 430, 2 TDs

    On Pace:

    Rushing: 2730, 18 TDs
    Passing: 2580, 12 TDs

No Quarterback has ever run and pass for 2000 yards in one season. He is way ahead of the pace in both categories. I am not sure if a QB has ever passed for 2000 and run for 1000. Tebow came close with about 900 yards in both the 2007 and 2009 seasons.

He is a beast. Gotta keep it up though. Defenses will get tougher but that spread option is tough to defend.

He should be leading in the Heisman race right now, that's for sure.

And Penn St. is starting a TRUE fresh. Seems like we could have a third year guy, second year starter who can run a phuckin option.

Dude's a gangster. Awesome. Fun to watch, too. What a breathe of fresh air for Michigan fans.

He could go for 3000 if he would tie his shoes!

There's no way he keeps it up. Even Vince Young saved those types of games for the big spotlight. I would like to see him keep it up but it just ain't happenin

I would agree. First of all, this was against ND's pathetic defense. He'll have bigger challenges to face as conference play heats up. Secondly, he'll get worn down & beaten up as the year goes on. Running as much as he does (particularly with that shifty style) puts him at high risk for injury.
