Can two sport athelete get redshirted in football and play baseball? Or if your redshirted in one sport your redshirted in all sports? Just curious. Say in Chad Jone's case, his freshman year he played football and made a huge impact but wasn't ready to fully commit to baseball his freshman year, could he redshirt in baseball and not football? And I am just using Chad as an example.

While yes, you can be two different things in two different sports, your example would not be good. CJ is a sophmore on both teams. A better example would be to know that Chris Jackson had one year of eligability left in baseball when he decided to try and make an NFL team as a punter/kicker. He had 0 years left on the football field. I'm sure there is some intracacy I am missing to the rules, but I do know you can be at two different levels of eligability for two different sports.
