There are about 7 Billion people on this earth and about 2 million of them, like martin, know that they've figured it out and the other 6,998,000,000 are superstitious dumbasses.

you, skip bertman, jesus, any of you could be god as far as i am concerned. i wont lose any sleep wondering if i am wrong in assuming that you are probably not.

for the record i think skip or red would be better gods than the christian one, who is kinda mean.

well, to be fair, the religious folks are the ones who claim to have all the answers. i have no idea who/what created us, if anything, or why we are here, what if any is the purpose. so perhaps i am the dumbass. you religious folks are the ones who presume to know things.

again, children are born atheist, having no religion or faith. calling atheism arrogant is clearly silly if you take a moment to understand that atheism is the lack of knowledge.

The world didn't begin the day you were born. A lot of the beliefs are based upon actual knowlege of actual people and has been passed down over the eons.

I like dressing up on Sunday and eating fried chicken. But you seem to have it figured out. Good for you. However, I'm not a Christian because my parents think I should be.

If I was Chinese, I'd know karate. That's all I'd need.

But I can't honestly answer that question, because I wasn't. But, thinking about it a little more, if I was born the "same me", then yes.

It's not an endorsement of anything. The fact is, if you go back far enough, there were people who didn't need faith..they were there.

the old christian in me would chastise you (very gently) for thinking the ones that were there didnt need faith. they thought the guy was going to raise some heavenly army and liberate his people, but then he "let" the romans crucify him.

my point about the "endorsement" was that there obviously have been many many things that are the foundations of many quite different religions that people "saw". and besides, what are we talking about? 2 people? mark and matthew? (luke wasnt there and most of john isnt corroborated).

again, i am the one WITHOUT the faith, i am the one who doesnt claim to have it figured out. you are the one that goes to church to talk about all the answers you have. you are the one who boldly claims to know the reason for everything.
