but his stuff aint. this aint the curt of 04. no question. im hoping carmona cant hit his spots tomorrow.
This is going to be a good game tomorrow. LSU trumps pretty much anything, so whatever happens in game 6 happens. All my energy tomorrow night will be channeled into Tiger Stadium.
there is no way cleveland wins because these are going to be close games and borowski has yet to be put to the fire. he will be in beantown and it wont be pretty. seriously, this guy's stuff (fastball) rivals wakefield's take your pick on a dry night. and manny still remains the one player i try not to miss an at-bat for the last 10 years. especially postseason. good to see beckett look like that 22 yr old kid i saw 5 years ago destroy the yankees. still wasnt as enjoyable since I like the tribe plus it was more fascinating then since he was so young. go tribe but i have little faith. boston will destroy the rocks if they face them. the indians are a better matchup for the series.
Like I said, in the playoffs, and you're season on the line, I'll take my chances with Schilling. Now Dice-K tomorrow night.....well, I hope he gets his ch!t together.
I think Westbrook will get shelled. I know he will, in fact. But how well does Dice-K pitch? I say he pitches "well enough". Boston 7-4.
I think the amazing jyro ball will be in full effect tonight. Can't wait to watch this game. I like the chowd's chances especially since the rest of their lineup is starting to swing the bats.
id still take fausto every time. his stuff was great just got behind too much. and cleveland did get to curt early before he really found his splitter. tonight. the pitching is a push. but the sox are swinging well so they win.
I don't think it does. Now, if Cleveland wins tonight, it may become a distraction when Byrd pitches in the World Series.
Not in the post-season I wouldn't. His postseason ERA is 7.20, and has only figured in one decision (a loss) in 3 starts. Curt's ERA is 2.25, he has a World Series MVP, and one of the best post-season winning percentages around. Don't know why, but in a big spot, Schilling always rises to the occasion.
