    I like the red better than blue (no...not a political thing m/m :hihi:) but the purple would look better than both. I still prefer green!

    I guess when you're not a big-time football program you need something to get attention.

    gag. football fields are supposed to be green. that is disgusting, as is the smurf turf.

    what is it with these yahoos in the nw and gay lookin turf?

    I thought the NCAA outlawed this on any new surface. Did not RTA.

    I coulda swore that the NCAA had already banned colored fields after the Boise St. change. Oh well. It's stupid to color a field anything but green.

    I remember that as well. I was kinda disappointed we wouldn't see any other randomly colored fields...but I guess not...?

    Nothing says tier II like a non green field. I expect that is one of Boise State's problems with rankings and respect. Nah...I know it is.

    Boise State's problem is the size of it's stadium, not the color of the turf. No BCS home-home deals for a team with a 30K seat venue.

    But even if they build a bigger venue, they'd still need to find a better conference.

    Anyway - back to that red turf. NFW. Horrible.
