Yea, but that could get to be a mighty long list...

Good one. I think he ended up in the best possible situation at WVU though (at least while under Rodriguez). He was pretty impressive last year.

Wasn't Andre Smith the guard that was holding Pittman so he could not recover the Wilson fumble last year? They didn't call it but it was so ridiculously obvious in the replay. I will have difficulty remembering him for anything else.

In '07, Lionel Breaux never got an LSU offer, and signed with Ole Miss. I think he redshirted. Also, Christian Scott chose Texas after going down to the wire between them & LSU. He also redshirted.

In '06, Louis Holmes was a highly rated JUCO DE that signed with Arizona St, and was never very good. London Crawford was an LSU commit, but was told to "look around" and ended up signing with Arkansas. He played some last year & may be a big contributor for them this year, but he's apparently had problems holding onto the ball.

:geaux::crystal::helmet: Being from the Alexandria area, losing Nic Harris and Chris Brown to OU made me sick. I really hoped both would be Tigers. Didn't realize they hadn't been offered. Thought Harris just ended up deciding on OU and then talked Brown into following him there since both were teamates at Alexandria Senior High. I really thought Chris Brown could have been another Josh Reed as he was a great reciever out of the backfield. Oh well, hopefully we'll have some Central La. Tigers in the future, but those two would have been good ones. :geauxtige:champs::LSU231:

Hey, you were asking for more so I had stretch for that one.

Even though he didn't have an offer I am interested to see how 2008 commit Freddie Smooth from Baton Rouge does at Auburn.

I think Saban offered him late, but it was just to appease fans who thought he should be offered. We never went hard after him.

    I don't think he qualified.

Actually I look at the Robert Lane case as a close call (LSU got quite lucky and not wasted a scholly). It was a flop for Ole Piss:hihi:

I look at guys like Louis Coleman & Robert Lane and just wonder if they could've developed more & been better players here.
