Some random tidbits: OU is the team we would worry about if you wanted to worry. In the end he will be at LSU IMO. He will be here on his birthday for an official visit which is the Florida game. His stats are disappointing this year but the new QB is pretty bad. There has been some positive movement in LSU direction to switch Lorenzo Phillips to LSU. Will come down to wire. Same could be said about Denzel Devall who seems to really like A&M. Seems like one of those kids who really wants to get away from home for college and his family doesn't have a problem with it so we will see if that changes closer to NSD. Still looking very good for Vadal Alexander with AU also in the picture. Big WR Dwayne Stanford out of Ohio is someone to keep an eye on. Really loves LSU but I still think the home team is the one to beat. One of the Top DEs out of Florida and committed to Miami, Jelani Hamilton is another to keep an eye on. NCAA may help LSU on this one but many other schools are still in play. DE Channing Ward out of MS grew up following LSU and still loves us but has been a family battle to stay close to home with either MSU and Ole Miss. If it was all up to him I think we would be in the lead. During the MSU game he was seen on the LSU side watching warmups. OG Nacho Garcia has LSU in his top 4 but I think LSU has him on the back burner and may never get the offer he wants. But if we have room at the end maybe take a late stab. WR Dhaquille Williams who headed to Juco last year says he may be ready to sign with a school in 2012 which is amazing given he had to start school over not too long ago because he wasn't enrolled at an accredited LA high school as a freshman or Sophomore. He wants that school to LSU. He has some character concerns but he may be too good to not give a shot. I think he was the top WR in the state last year and we need a tall/big WR.

few questions... how strong are we for the Hamilton? how likely phillips switches, is hilliard in his ear? any chance we pull the ohio kid? We did it with Ware i think..
Hamilton is too early to tell but we have his attention. Hilliard is in his ear but not sure on the chances yet but we are making a strong case. Ohio Kid is a package deal with his teammate who I believe is a 5* DE. We know how those usually work out but Ohio St would probably make the most sense at this point.
What are our chances with the Green-Beckham kid? Has LSU listed on rivals, but do we have a realistic shot?
