Recruiting Rankings after Kiel committment

    Rivals: LSU moved up to #3
    Scout: LSU moved up to #5
    247Sports: LSU moved to #5
    ESPN: LSU moved from 14th to #11 (clueless)
    SI.com: LSU moved from 9th to #4
    Max Preps: LSU moved to #6

    I can't help but wonder how Landon Collins, Jeremy Hill and others (should they sign) may make these rise.

    This has been discussed here and elsewhere. The only answer I can find is that it is a subjective system.

    They did have us ranked number one in 2009, when no one else did, so I do not think it is bias.

    I think when we finish, we will be in their top ten.

    They just have different systems, and some years they will favor Louisiana players more (like 2009), and other years less.

    This year they don't like our players as much as the other recruiting sites.

    When still have 5* CB Howard, 5 * S Collins and 5 * DE Edwards as very high possibilities left on the board. If we get all three we could end up in the top 2 or 3 in just about every site's rankings.
