I was thinking Memphis too for some reason. Sux for Tennessee that their state is so oddly shaped and that UT is located all the way on the east side of their state, especially since TN's biggest cities in Memphis (1.3 metro population) and Nashville (1.6 million metro population) are 6 and 3 hours to the west. TN would have been much better off had they built their school in their state capital and/or within an hour of their biggest city like LSU did. Another big pick-up for Dooley.

This is the highest finish for Auburn in a long time. I know they took Reed from us, but a strong Auburn splitting the state of Alabama's talent is probably in our best interest. They landed 6 of the top 10 in the state, although Satan still signed most of the top 5 guys. Tubby coached up the talent, but the new coaches seem to be better recruiters. Georgia seemed to be the biggest loser of the day in the SEC, but they still managed a very good avg. star rating. Georgia tends to sign a limited amount of players more often than other SEC teams. I think it may be because Richt is letting players retain their schollys, unlike other coaches who recommend that they "transfer to gain more playing time".

I was looking at Rivals' team rankings and a few of the results were surprising. Wisconsin for example is currently #86 in recruiting. Didn't they go 10-3 and finish in the Top 20 this season? You would think they would've been higher that #86.

There are a few other schools from top football conferences who didn't do very well either.

I'm VERY happy with our class! Last year was great and next year is looking great too.

Looks like he and his family waiting to see how serious these NCAA sanctions are against USC first:

According to Henderson’s father, Sean, he will wait until U.S.C. appears before an N.C.A.A. infractions committee from Feb. 19-21 to hear about possible sanctions for the program before deciding whether to sign the letter.

If I was that big of a recruit I would never sign. Someone will hold a sport for you and you get to see all the coach chages that occur after NSD, or in this case, NCAA hearings.

Yea but this guy is all Hollywood and his dad as well. Its ridiculous, I think he is going to be a bust.
Also, how in the hell did USC go to 1# on Rivals?

pretty typical actually. not a lot of talent up there, at least hyped talent. they usually sign 1-3 4 star players a year. so they are usually somewhere between MissSt in a bad year and Kentucky.
