We have 20 seniors exiting this year. How do we convince young talent that LSU is the place to be? What do we sell them on? Great coaching? The best shot at a national championship?

Early playing time and contributions... and being a part of a new defensive strategy for the guys like Loston, Davenport and Co.

Best SEC record in the 20th century. Two of the last 5 national championships. Average a SCCCG appearance every two years. Top athletic facilities. Top fans. Opportunity for early playing time in a rebuilding year.

That pretty much sums it up. If a recruit bails on LSU because of a bad season (Which was still better than Auburn, Notre Dame, Miami, etc etc) to go somewhere else. They probably would have not been a great fit anyway. Miles needs to recruit character as well as ability. Which honestly having seen this season this team could use a bit of...
Call me what you want, but I would rather lose with Character then win watching players celebrate tackles after 15 yard gains or doing grave digger dances down 21 points.....
