Well recruiting is coming down to the wire and i feel really good about this class.

A little nervous about the 2 linebackers from Ga. and Tillman from Miss. but even without them and who i think we pick up from here on this is going to be a great class.

If we can close with Keiland Williams, Chris Mitchell, Ricky Dixon, and 1 more each of OL, DB , and DL . If we lose any of the above that will open up a few more spots.

I think we finish strong and i will be happy with this class because it addresses alot of our needs moving forward .

I know this time of year is very stressfull for Coaches and as i have stated before i would like to see some clarity to the recruiting process.

But things look really bright for LSU moving forward and according to what is being said next year La. will have a strong senior class to recruit from.

I hear ya. Since the bowl week (i.e. Recruiting dead period) no one has really gotten any new commitments....and it would be REAL nice to pick up SOON....you know--to ease MY mind! :thumb:

I must not have seen this thread when I made mine about signing day being just around the corner.. so I'll just post my thoughts in here.

I seem to feel more nervous this year than other years. We've got some good guys that seem to be looking around at other schools & even though they are still committed to the Tigers, I get the feeling we're going to lose somebody. But at the same time, I think Miles will prove to be a great closer in recruiting & be able to bring in a good group of guys right at the end...

I think we will have a top 5 class when everything is said & done.

Ditto. The fact that the Tigers did not get any new committments at the U.S. Army All-American High School game concerned me, and we have not picked up any since, but only seemed to have lost prospects. To pick up a committment or two this weekend would ease my mind too, but I don't expect that to happen. We will probably have to wait until the weekend of Jan 20.

Are there any top notch O-line prospects from La. next year?

Well, dispite not picking up any "additional" commitments at the AAA game, at LEAST we had 3 guys participate in it (Woods, Cox, Dickson). ....better than not having any at all.
