Heck I would put Ryan Perriloux in this discussion.
Yes he had some good games but he was to be the future of this past year and next (at least).
Due to the importance of the QB situation, Its safe to assume him being a Bust (Or busted) set LSU back a year or two.

I personally had high hopes for this guy after he cut up my high school for about 400 yards rushing two years in a row. I saw him more as a Kevin Faulk type of guy. Played QB at carencro same as Faulk. The guy was unbelievable but had a major attitude problem.

I remember James having a successful career at LSU until he was kicked off the team. I think it had to do with mary jane. Maybe someone can correct me if I am wrong.

So not a bust in terms of talent, only attitude and behavior.

I was referring to the offensive lineman Andouille brought up in his post. After doing some looking its Paris Hodges from Sacramento, thats who I was thinking of. He came in with Skyler Green et al. He wasn't a big time recruit from what I recall, but as big as he was, I'd thought he would have done more, probably a disappointment and not actually a bust.

Andouille, is that who you were thinking of ?

Nothing official ever came out of LSU on why Damian was dismissed from the team. Most speculate that he overstudied for a certain test he had to take. Didn't he make All-SEC @ safety ?

It's pretty amazing to read the backlash I got for stating it.

Your post made me think of the running back we got from Catholic-BR who followed Warrick Dunn, and a lot of people put him on that plateau. Never showed that kind of talent though....I believe his name was Kevin Franklin? Others.....
QB Leonard Valentine from Ehret in New Orleans. nothing, nothing, nothing.
TB Robert Davis from Alabama (Curley era...went for about 75 yards and a touchdown on his first carry in an afternoon game against A&M, and was never heard from in any meaningful way again.
