If we win out and bama wins, there is now way we end up in the Papa Johns bowl. Bama winning the SEC means that both Georgia and Florida will fall. We should pass both of them with a win over bama.
I have to tell you...I don't see UF losing again this year. They go to the BCSNCG, and we win out, we may wind up in the Sugar ala UGA last year and LSU in '06. Keep in mind that, in my scenario, LSU beats Bama, then UF beats Bama...so Bama would fall below an LSU team on a winning streak.
Theres no way that this team that has showed up the last 4 games has a chance against Alabama....there is not heart at all in this team..to many mistakes ...and no Defense.I will be going to the NO Hornets game instead of putting myself through torture watching that game.

We all knew this team wasn't going to be as good as the last few years, but no reason to throw them under the bus when adversity hits. I don't think anyone should be really shocked that LSU is 6 -2 at this stage of the season. We knew that Fla. and Ga. could very well be losses and they were. To say they have no heart is unfair. To say there are too many mistakes being made is fair. Yes the team can play better and needs to correct mistakes. We've got a 19 year old RSFR QB is having a rough time right now. He'll get through this and be a better QB in the long run because of what he's been through. All teams go through rough stretches at one time or another and come through it. If the team handled adversity like the bandwagon bunch they would be in trouble. It could be much worse. We could be Michigan, Tennessee or Auburn. There is light at the end of the tunnel and I believe this LSU team is going to beat #1 Alabama this Saturday and I will watch the game come hell or high water. I will also watch the game. I know I will be yelling, fussing & crying, but I will watch it.. I do not believe we will win, I think that I will be disappointed & discouraged but I will watch it. I have a fear that it will be another 50 points scored against us but I will watch it. I think the best coach, motivitor & recruiter will be on the Alabama sideline but I will watch it. I will watch it because deep down I am a solid purple tiger fan and there is always a chance we will play our best game of the year & have a chance to win in the end. :geaux:
I would rather watch LSU play any sport, even in a loss, than any NBA game. I'll be watching the Tigers if possible.
Our players don't need bulletin board material from rival players when we have fans like you to bring home the bacon. Be sure to recall this statement when we win this game, win our bowl game, pull in the 2nd highest rated class(highest star/player ever at LSU), and make yet another run next year.
