Recruit sues over rescinded scholarship

    The state courts have general jurisdiction and the federal courts can step in with a dispute involving 2 different states (diversity case greater than $75,000) if minimum contacts can not be established. However, minimum contacts includes normal bussiness practice such as the coach has recruited in that area before; emails, text messages, and phone calls can also establish min contacts. The defendent will likely have to travel to the plantiff's court.
