The problem with a pro-style offense is the same reason it succeeds in the pro's- it takes like 2-3 years for a QB to get really good at it- and guess what most teams don't have 2-3 seasons to burn (and then even when you do get good at it, it makes massives demands on your O-line because the QB can't do a Tebow or Vince Young and bail you out with a scramble- look what happened to UGA last year).
