I really like him, after seeing the Ducks dominate against Stanford and Cal, I can finally relax, we're on a good course. Cristobal said, in regards to conditioning and physicality, he wants to turn Oregon into Alabama-West,.. I heard him say it a few times, but not lately, alabama-west, wasn't really going over very well.
I recall a few saying "USC East" in '07 and '08 when talking about recruiting. That didn't sit well with a lot of fans. It was fan banter.
S&P+ has been strong this year on results and an odd side note to his rankings this week is LSU, Florida, and Miami are all grouped within three of each other--slight nod to Miami over UF and LSU over Miami. Sagarin has this game pretty close as well (if we're giving three to UF for home field.) Vegas doesn't appear to being giving UF any home field advantage based on the those two metrics. All that said...betting trends. Like UGA, LSU has been very good on covering the spread in conference games but that's going back to last year as well. Great on covering on road games as well--want to say 4-0 or something like that last year. @tirk Sharp money comes in late on UF to cover if it stays with LSU giving -2.5 to -3. If it gets down to -1.5 buy a point.
I thought I read S&P+ didn’t like LSU very much. That changed? I’ll give the points, LSU should win this one; Eaux is a legit force in the coaching game, settling in. Offensive line has been a ball-and-cup game and we’re forced to develop a new backup at center this week, so that could help FU. I like Mullen a lot, crowd should be loud (as much complaining as there is about how this rivalry is pushed on us because Bama gets what it wants, I really like the FU-LSU game), probably be too hot. Alabama has their hands full with Arkansas...
And the Duck players will have to start selling their school books and robbing fellow Oregon students.
