A few years back, y'all went an entire season, or at least until the LSU game in November, without a single holding call... A call so subjective that it could probably be called on every down... How is that possible...
Back to reality. I've got a theory on how to defend the team. It fits with some of what Aranda does. It's a match-up thing out of nickel if you ask me...
Terry your a good a poster and valued member here, but i think i speak for everyone when i say F#$K Bama
The last time I heard this it was someone pointing to 2012. There was a holding penalty in the first half. What year?
well if you want to look at some of your gamewinning plays of the last few years you might find 12 to 14 call not made. 3 on one play withing 5 yards on hurts on his late td. But your a typical bama fan our guys don't hold because it is never called on us. The officials cant possibly be looking the other way. And that is correct. But your never wrong I always forget I guess Patrick Peterson didn't intercept either. and their weren't 5 bama boosters in the room while it was being reviewed. Or on the yeldon screen their wernt numerous holdings not called. You hold on every play with immunity. Just enjoy it and the fact you get enormous benefits from having the sec office close to your campus. But you have the best team money can buy and cheat to get. You don't have to worry about selling jerseys for suits in Birmingham stores. Eddie Lacey goes from complete moron to A student when he leaves Louisiana for Foley Alabama high school. Once again just enjoy the fact the Bama is more corrupt than Washington and accept the spoils that go with it. But you will have to accept that LSU fans see it but cant do anything about it.
It may have been then it more recent... Point is it should never happen on a subjective call like holding... I remember it because Vern the hutt and Gary were rambling on about penalty stats during our game...
This Bama offense can name the score bc of Tua. They've tried not to score in the 2nd halves of games bc Saban doesn't want the hype. Hurts has played the 4th qtr (2q vs USL) which works out well for everyone. You're gonna have to keep up with them on the scoreboard and if pressed they can almost name the score. They'll struggle eventually (forced to punt in the 1h) but this may be the best qb Alabama has ever fielded. Miami is good. I've watched them in their other games. They have legit talent and what lsu was able to do defensively was impressive and on the offensive line. Same can be said vs auburn but gus is an oddball so Im never quite sure what auburn will do. LSU's two road wins are as impressive as anyone's. Or at least were. Not sure after this weekend. Ugas wins definitely arent more impressive. Blocked punt and fumble return vs Missouri and beat a South Carolina team under the tutelage of will Muschamp. Uga was favored by 2 touchdowns at Columbia Mizzou and 9 in the other Columbia of SC. LSU's road wins were as underdogs to Miami by 3 and 10 to auburn. These uga games will likely be considered rentawins once this season plays out. Miami and auburn won't be.
